Greetings!
I'm new to this whole blogging idea. This is something that I told myself that I would never do, and alas, by some weird twist I find myself blogging away. As I write this I'm sitting in the office at the Bernie church of Christ. I left my home around 9:00 a.m. and truly enjoyed the twenty minute drive up. Sitting above me was a lemon-yellow sun, a blue sky, and fluffy white clouds.
As I drove up highway 25 I saw rows and rows of Corn and Cotton rising from the dirt. I saw flowers in bloom on the roadside along with the deep green of the grass. Then it hit me. The bootheel of Missouri is so beautiful this time of year. It's something that I have been taking for granted for some time. I'm reminded of Psalm 118:24-"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it [ESV]. Today truly is a day that the Lord has made and blessed us with. Let us not take it for granted.
-Yours and his,
