Why Worry?

How often are we riding along smoothly in our lives and out of nowhere "life" happens? It's a great feeling when we have that peaceful feeling within, but when a wrench is thrown in our gears we get tempted and sometimes lose our faith. Dispair, trials, and sickness plauge our lives sometimes. It's difficult when these things happen but we can face it one of two ways. We can have a "Whoa is me" attitude or we can remember where our source of strength lies. It's when we hit those low points that we must endure and stand strong in the turmoil's of life.

Psalm 46:10 states, "Be still, and know that I am God." We have to remember who is in control. Matthew 6:25-27 states, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

As I've written above we are told to, "Be still and know that I am God." God has everything in control. When we worry what we're really saying is, I know that you say you've got this....but......I'm just not sure.
